Bayau Lagoon Melaka @ 27/01/2017

I booked the room trough their website as the price is same compare to agoda and other travel bookers. I have mentioned the booking is for 2 adults and 1 kid. The package is for room and team park entrance.

The room we were given was clean with some minor  problems such as shower water quite slow, one of the cards not accessible to the room, and the walls are not sound proof. Had difficulty to sleep at night because of the noise.

Check in was quite easy as they have 7 counters and need to take number and wait to be served. We arrived around 2 pm and asked to wait 20 minutes as the room is being cleaned. 20 minutes is just nice for us to sip a nice tea at the beside restaurant. They gave 2 access card, 2 teampark tickets, when I mentioned to the counter guy that I need entrance and breakfast for my 5 year old son also, he say we might not need to pay as there is no specific age to measure the requirement, instead they only measure by the height of the kid.

Check in done, what's next? We headed to the team park. Not knowing for the shocks awaiting there;

We were asked to pay additional for our son RM16 for entrance to the team park and that ticket only can be used once meanwhile the 2 adults tickets can be used twice. Look how stupid is that! The place is meant for kids and adults were given complementary tickets while children need to pay extra. Ok, maybe that was the greatest marketing plan the management can think of!
What is more annoying part of the team park is beach towel is not provided and guest are not allowed to bring hotel towel. So, we need to bring our own towel? Why it was not mentioned during booking?
We need to rent the towel for RM5 with deposit RM5, means to get one towel we need to pay RM10 and when return, RM5 will be refunded. They simply make themselves as public park and called it hotel standard!

The theme park was big and quite crowded as it is open for non hotel guest also. At first I was overwhelmed with the fun park where they have number car and hot wheels but you only can enter the park with band in hand and how to play with wet clothes? No idea! I am shivering there, we just headed back to our room.

Morning breakfast was the worst experience where counter girl asked me to buy coupon for my son costing RM18
What's the point to buy the package through their website where I have clearly mentioned 2 adults and 1 kid and they choose to ignore the kid so that they can charge as they like. I was not in the mood to fight, hence just pay and went in. What was provided? Just nasi lemak, plain mee soup, breads and puddings with hot coffee and tea. Totally disappointed.

Nothing much for us, just pack up and chow. Bye Bayau!
