Tuk Tuk means the famous 3 wheeler often found in countries like Thailand, Cambodia and India. In India it is called as 'auto'. The wheel can accommodate 2-3 person at the back and operates without aircond. It's similar like being passenger on a bike, but a slightly larger bike ๐ต
I have been to their shop few rounds and this time I guess I'll write a review on their food. They have 2 restaurant in klang valley, Setia City Mall and Sunway Pyramid. Their shop is typically not so large but just nice to serve as many as 30 customer at one time. Every corner of the shop is creatively used to accommodate more customers.
Interior inside the shop is very simple yet creatively in style, and ya it follows the theme of the shop - Tuk Tuk. That doesn't means we will be sitting in a Tuk Tuk style of seats ya, hahaha.
Ok, talk about food, for person like me who loves spicy food, Tuk Tuk really match the taste buds. They serve varieties in Tom yam, pataya, glass noodles, fish cakes, soups, green curry, chicken varieties and etc. Same goes to the drink - majority follows aka tyle style like Thai tea, Thai coffee, green tea, but not least to that choice, they have plenty more to choose.
Normally I'll spoil for choice when I'm at Tuk Tuk, and often I'll jut choose the set food which comes with drink of the day. Today I make a little change by ordering aka carte, whooho. Mouth watering, delicious food for my happy tummy. ๐
Their menu look this ๐๐ผ price of the food varies from RM7.80 to RM14.80. Quite reasonable
Mix vege served with generous amount of cashew nut, my favorite๐. The portion served was just nice for both my husband and myself as we both are not big eater.
Roasted chicken in honey. ๐คค
Shrimp ๐ค pancake. Honestly I was expecting a pancake actually and surprised to receive a Craker type of dish. Anyhow, no complain as it was really tasty.
What do Malaysian never missed out in a meal? Sure an egg- type of dish is a must, right? The omelette was fried just nice without only burnt and uncooked portion. Again, though we could get omelette almost all the shops in Malaysia, Tuk Tuk omelette shouldn't be missed.
Lastly, after wallop everything, our mouth will crave for sweet stuff, of course, dessert is a must although you are full of crocodiles. Hence this fried ice cream just what I needed. Hooray... happy tummy, happy me ๐
