The Kahaani Melaka

The majestic house

Does it look like an hotel? Nope, yes? Actually it is. We reached the actual place in the first place, then we thought it's not what we were supposed to be as the surrounding were housing area, in our head we were looking for the high rise with few balconies and we thought waze had brought us to wrong place. Going back to main road and follow google map, again reach the same bungalow 😁

The house had its history, it was the Melacca's governors previous home which he let out to private hotel management to run it, if I'm not mistaken, it's R&R Management.

So, a governors home, what do you expect? We were as the royals for that whole day. The whole bungalow having 5-6 room, which can accommodate small to large families. Every room with attached bathroom and the house kitchen is your pantry. Each corner is tastefully decorated and the housekeeping was fabulous. They really treat us like royals, they clean the room and serve fresh fruit with local kuihs for tea time, even when we are not around. Breakfast is not buffet, instead the ask you what you want to eat and give few choices so that we can choose. For children, they have favorite delicacies such as nugget, sousage, and cereals with milk. Fresh juice was made upon order and can order how many you really can gulp. Haha 😂

At the time of our booking, there were only another group of travelers, group of friends having their breaks and us. Hence most of the time, the hotel very quite except for junior's laugher and shouts. Again, thumbs up for the management whom really caring, on and off, she come and ask is there anything we need. 👍🏽

Note: going out at night, please inform the guard and your car number as they will lock the gate quite early around 10pm and the guard, if he doesn't see you going out, he will never open the gate unless informed by staff in charge.
