haha, yes we came all the way from Malaysia and the tour is not complete without a proper shopping spree. there is no need to attend special courses to gauge saree's and chutithar's at India. we can simply tell the quality by touching the material.
the most organic type of silk and cotton sarees can get from Kanjipuram ( the silk heaven). once you have entered their premises, they make sure you are very comfortable by serving you the best tea and spreading the softest mattress for you to relax. all this special treatment will do its tricks so that you will not leave the place empty handed. even a person like me who doesn't fancy about sarees, end up buying few, only god knows what will happen to those who crazy about them.
