Indian Style Chicken Curry

Serves 2-3 pax

Ingredients;
 
 
  • 2 medium onion
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 green chili 
  • Small piece of ginger
  • 1 medium Potato cut into cubes
  • I tomato cut into 12 
  • Curry leaves
  • Mustard seed
  • Cardamom
  • Cloves
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Cinnamon
  • Babas curry powder
  • Garlic & ginger paste
  • Knorr chicken cube 1/2
  • Coconut or olive oil
  • Fresh milk ~ quarter cup
  • Water ~ 2 cups
Instructions;

  1. Marinate the chicken with garlic and ginger paste for 20 minutes.
 
 
  1. Heat the pan with oil, insert the mustard seed, after popping, add the sliced onion, fry until golden 
  2. Add in the herbs, garlic, ginger, chili and potato. Stir a while and add in the chicken, continue stirring a while.
  3. Add babas curry powder, 3-4 tablespoon and mix them well in the oil. Then add water till can cover most of the chicken. Add in the chicken cube and salt to taste. Let it to boil

4. Leave it to thicken for about 10 minutes, add fresh milk and the tomato. Remove the fire after about 5 minutes.

 

Curry is ready to be served with tosai, idli, or fragrant rice 😋😋
